Master drum-builder Johnny Craviotto has been handcrafting solid-shell wood drums for decades. Johnny recently set out to create a snare drum that has not graced the drumming community since the 1920's. Johnny wanted to incorporate old-world heritage while embrassing the high standards of Craviotto Quality.

In partnership with Adrian Kirchler of AK Drums / Italy - Johnny and AK have teamed up to offer a one-of-a-kind, brass-shell snare drum that will leave a memorable impression on the drumming community. This snare drum offers a warmth and response like no other metal drum in the market today.

Craviotto Drum Company will offer a LIMITED number of these exceptional snare drums.
*50 of the 5.5 x 14 and 50 of the 6.5 x 14 Diamond Series Snare Drum will be produced.
Each drum will have it's individual number engraved directly on the shell, under the Craviotto logo.


Finished as Nickel over Brass (NOB), Craviotto's signature diamond pattern is hand-engraved around the shell, then polished and buffed. Built with Johnny Craviotto's trademark snare-bed and signature hardware - The Craviotto Diamond Series Snare Drum will be the diamond crown jewel of your snare drum collection.
